Video of the USS Hawaii Christening Ceremony
This morning Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle is christening the United States Navy USS Hawaii submarine at the Groten Shipyard in Connecticut. Senator Daniel Inouye will be the keynote speaker at the ceremony. The event will be broadcast live on the Web at 10:30 a.m. eastern time (7:30 a.m. Pacific time and 4:30 a.m. in Hawaii). After 3:00 p.m. eastern time, the broadcast will be available on the Web for approximately one week.
