Preserve America Welcomes Chinatown Honolulu
The Chinatown area of downtown Honolulu has been designated an official Preserve America Community Neighborhood by the United States White House Advisory Council on Historical Preservation. The Preserve America Program recognizes exceptional efforts to use cultural and natural resources to promote tourism, revitalize the community, create jobs, and educate the public.
