New NCL Cruise Ship Has Arrived in Hawaii
Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) has added a third ship, the "Pride of Hawaii", to their fleet of U.S. flag carrier ships that cruise the Hawaiian Islands. The other two NCL ships are the "Pride of Aloha" and the "Pride of America". Norwegian has two other ships that offer Hawaii cruises, the "Norwegian Wind" and the "Norwegian Sun", but because those ships are foreign flag carriers, they are required to include a non-U.S. port in their cruises. NCL's two Norwegian ships include one day at the tiny and remote Fanning Island in the Republic of Kiribati in their Hawaii itineraries, which adds four days of at-sea time to those Hawaii cruises.
