Hanauma Bay is a deep cove on the south shore of Oahu, about 10 miles east of Waikiki, between Hawaii Kai and Koko Crater. There are several hiking trails on the cliffs above the cove and the 2000 foot white sand beach is one of the best spots on Oahu for snorkeling. It's best to arrive at Hanauma Bay State Underwater Park early in the day because the parking lot often fills up and only 2000 people are permitted on the beach at one time. You can view ten pictures of the park and the bay in our Hanauma Bay Photo Gallery.
