The 2006 United States Windsurfing National Championships are taking place August 7-11 at Kanaha Beach Park near Kahului on the island of Maui. Maui is one of the most recognized windsurfing venues in the world, but this is the first time the US Nationals have been held there in eight years. Categories will include slalom, course racing, and long distance and there will be men's, women's, and junior events.
