JetStar, the discount subsidiary of Quantas Airways, has received approval from the United States Department of Transportation to fly between Hawaii and Australia, with three flights a week from Sydney and two flights a week from Melbourne. Other airlines that fly between Australia and Hawaii include Air Canada and Hawaiian Airlines.
