Two Waikiki hotels have recently signed agreements with the Hilton Hotels Corporation to manage their properties. The Radisson Waikiki Prince Kuhio Hotel will become the Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio in December of 2006. The new Wyland Waikiki Hotel will soon be the Doubletree Wyland Waikiki. The Wyland Hotel was formerly known as the Ohana Waikiki Surf. Artist Robert Wyland and his partners invested approximately $10 million in upgrading that hotel in 2005 and 2006 before it was sold to Hilton this summer.
