The 2006 Windward Hoolaulea will take place at Windward Community College in Kaneohe on Saturday, September 16, 2006 from 9 am to 9 pm. The event will include continuous live music by some of Hawaii's top performers, crafts, food booths, a book sale, and activities for kids. Some of the entertainers appearing at the event are Melveen Leed, Holunape, Vaihi, Kapena, and Eddie Kamae. Admission is free.
