Hawaii's peaceful and serene Byodo-In Japanese Temple sits nestled in a grove of pine trees at the foot of the dramatic Koolau Mountains, in the town of Kaneohe, on the eastern side of Oahu. The temple was built in 1968 and it is a full scale replica of the Byodo-In Temple built in 998 in the city of Uji, Japan. [Photo Gallery]
