Island Air Introduces Customer Rewards Program
This week Island Air introduced a new frequent flyer rewards program that will give a free round-trip inter-island ticket to customers who complete nine round-trip flights or eighteen one-way flights. To sign up for the program, visit the Island Air Web site and select "Rewards Program" from the green menu at the top of the page. After you sign up for the program you can print your own rewards card. The awarded tickets can be used by anyone the member designates. Island Air was founded in 1980 as Princeville Airways on the island of Kauai. In 1987 the company was purchased by Aloha Airlines and their name was changed to Aloha Island Air. In 2004 they became an independent airline and changed their name to Island Air. They now operate flights between the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Molokai, and the Big island of Hawaii.
