The Largest Coffee Plantation in Hawaii is on Kauai
There are hundreds of coffee farms on the Big Island of Hawaii, and Kona coffee is famous around the world, but many people do not realize the largest coffee plantation in Hawaii is located on the island of Kauai. Four million coffee trees are grown on the Kauai Coffee Company's 3400 acre estate near Koloa. There are no walking tours available, but their visitors' center features videos and displays covering the history of coffee production on Kauai and general information about how coffee is grown and processed.
