The Historic Moana Hotel in Waikiki
The Moana Hotel on Waikiki Beach was built in 1901, and it was the first real hotel in the Waikiki area. The two side wings, which give the hotel its distinctive "H" shape, were added in 1918. The main building of the hotel is called the Banyan Wing and it is on the National Register of Historic Places.
