The 24th annual Honolulu Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival will take place on Sunday, August 20, 2006 from 11 am to 6 pm in Kapiolani Park. In conjunction with the festival, the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is hosting the second annual Ledward Kaapana Aloha Acoustic Workshop August 15-19 with sessions focused on slack key guitar, ukulele, and steel guitar. If you are interested in the workshop, sign up soon, because enrollment is limited to 25 people.
