Congratulations to Daniel Ho Creations for their album "Masters Of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar, Volume 1", which won the 2006 Hawaiian Music Grammy Award. The recording includes performances by the top slack key guitar masters in the Hawaiian Islands, including Ledward Kaapana, George Kahumoku, Jr, Cyril Pahinui, Ozzie Kotani, Keoki Kahumoku, and Daniel Ho. Also nominated this year were Raiatea Helm's album "Sweet and Lovely", Kapono Beamer's "Slack Key Dreams of the Ponomoe", Sonny Lim's "Slack Key Guitar: The Artistry Of Sonny Lim", and Ledward Kaapana's "Kiho'alu: Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar".
