Pleasant Holidays and other organized tour companies are stepping up efforts to develop tours that will interest seniors and baby boomers, because those groups have more leisure time and disposable income than many other groups. It's not clear, however, if modern seniors will be interested in fully escorted tours, because many of today's older adults consider themselves to be adventurous travelers, and Hawaii is a safe and easy independent travel destination.
