On Friday, March 17, 2006 there will be a St. Patrick's Day Parade in Waikiki, sponsored by the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick of Hawaii. The parade will begin at 12 noon at the corner of Saratoga Road and Kalakaua Avenue, it will proceed down Kalauaua Avenue and Monsarrat Avenue, and will end in Kapiolani Park about 1:30 pm. Approximately 800 marchers, 50 vehicles, two floats, and five bands are expected to participate.
