Kamaka Ukulele of Hawaii is sponsoring a concert on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. Artists scheduled to appear include Genoa Keawe, Ho'okena, Holunape, O'Brien Eselu, Byron Yasui, Benny Chong, and Bryan Tolentino. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Ukulele Guild of Hawaii "Ukes for Kids" program, which provides free ukuleles to under-privileged children. Tickets for the event are $30, which includes non-alcoholic beverages and parking at the Convention Center. For more information see the Kamaka Benefit Concert Web site.
