Hula Dancing on a Hawaiian Volcano
2006 is the 25th year of the Volcano Arts Center's Hula Kahiko, a series of traditional hula and chant performances which take place on a platform overlooking the Kilauea Crater in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii. The one hour performances begin at 10:00 or 10:30 a.m. and they are followed by craft demonstrations at the Volcano Arts Center. In 2006 the performances will take place on March 18, May 13, June 24, and August 26. For more information see:
