When 18 year old Raiatea Helm's first album "Far Away Heaven" was released, she was declared by many to be a natural successor to the greatest falsetto singers, including Genoa Keawe, Lena Machado, and Amy Hanaialii Gilliom. Her first album won two Na Hoku Hanohano awards and one Hawaii Music Award, and her second album, "Sweet and Lovely" was one of five albums nominated this month for the 2006 Hawaiian Music Grammy Award.
