Filipinos in Hawaii 100 Year Celebration
The first Filipinos arrived in Hawaii nearly 100 years ago, to work on the sugar cane and pineapple plantations. A special report published by the Honolulu Advertiser this weekend includes the family histories and personal stories of five Hawaiians of Filipino heritage.
