The afternoon high tea served on the Banyan Veranda at the historic Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki includes a selection of teas, ham, turkey, and salmon sandwiches, and a variety of pastries and sweets including scones with devonshire cream, fruit tarts, cream puffs, and sorbet. Vegetarian sandwiches can be requested when you make your reservation. The cost of this elegant and filling repast is $28, or $34 with two glasses of champagne. High tea is served at the Moana Surfrider Monday through Saturday from 1 to 4 pm and Sunday from 3 to 4. From 5:30 to 10:30 pm this is one of the best spots on Oahu to watch the sun go down, sip tropical drinks and hear some of the top Hawaiian musicians perform. For more information see the Banyon Veranda Afternoon Tea Web site.
