The Rip Curl Proline Masters Competition is the final jewel in the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, a three-event series that takes place at three different beaches on the north shore of Oahu. The Rip Curl competition is taking place December 8-20 on the Banzai Pipeline break at Ehukai Beach Park. This event will determine both the ASP World Surfing Champion and the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing Champion for 2005.
