The new Honolua Village Center at northwest Maui's Kapalua Resort opened on October 18, 2006. Shops so far include Kapalua Collections, La Perle Jewelers, Kapalua Realty, and the Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar. And more news from the Kapalua Resort: Advanced tickets for the Mercedes-Benz Golf Championship at the Kapalua Plantation Golf Course are on sale until December 25, at which time ticket prices will increase. Advance tickets to the entire event are available for $55. After December 25, those tickets will cost $80. The Mercedes-Benz Championship will take place January 1-7, 2007.
