The 8th annual Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park "Salute to the Military" will take place the Friday before Veterans' Day, November 10, 2006, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On that date, admission will be free for all active duty military, reservists, national guard personnel, and retirees with valid military IDs. Dependents of military personnel, and up to four of their friends, can get in for half price by showing current military dependent IDs. Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park is a 25 acre water park in Kapolei with water slides, a wave pool, a river rafting pool, and other attractions. It is located about 30 to 45 minutes west of Waikiki.
