Every year the Honolulu Advertiser issues Ilima Awards for the best restaurants in Hawaii. The awards are given to all types of restaurants and cafes in many different price categories. Most of the award winning restaurants are on the island of Oahu, but the last six are located on Maui, Kauai, or the Big Island of Hawaii.
