Aloha Festivals Falsetto Contest
I will be in Honolulu this week, attending the Aloha Festivals Hawaiian Falsetto Singing Contest in the Monarch Room of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki on the island of Oahu. The contest will take place Friday, October 13, at 7:00 p.m. Hawaii's top amateur falsetto singers will compete for a Hula Records recording contract and other prizes. In addition to the contest, Grammy nominated Raiatea Helm will perform, and Benny Kalama, John Piilani Watkins, Kahauanu Lake, and Dennis Pavao will be inducted into the Falsetto Hall of Fame. This will be a great event! Tickets are $40 for general seating and $55 for premium seating. For more information see:
