Going Back to Old Hawaii
This American Heritage Magazine article highlights places in Waikiki and Honolulu where it is possible to recapture the flavor of Hawaii in the 1930's and 1940's, including the grand Royal Hawaiian, Halekulani, and Moana Hotels, the older buildings in downtown Honolulu and Chinatown, the Waikiki Army Museum, and Pearl Harbor.
