Learn About Pineapple at the Dole Plantation
The Dole Pineapple Plantation in Central Oahu opened in 1950 as a fruit stand next to a pineapple field. It has been open to the public as a visitor attraction since 1989. Things to see and do at the Dole Plantation include a diesel train ride through the plantation grounds, a narrated walking tour, a giant, pineapple shaped, walk-through maze, a pineapple garden, a large gift shop, and a cafe.
