The Cheetah Company is bringing the 6-time Tony Award winning musical The Lion King to the Blaisdell Center Concert Hall in Honolulu in the Fall of 2007. About 200 of the fixed seats in the concert hall will be removed to allow the show's African animal characters to parade from the house to the stage in the opening scene. There will be preview performances September 15 and 16 and regular performances will run from September 17 through October 28, 2007. If the show is successful in Honolulu it may be extended through December 10. Ticket prices will begin at $36 per seat. Tickets are on sale now for Outrigger hotel room and ticket packages and also for groups of 20 or more. Individual tickets booked without a hotel room will go on sale in April. For group reservations call 808-593-2468. For hotel+show reservations call 866-721-4221.
