Island Air, the third largest inter-island airline in Hawaii, recently announced plans to lay off 65 employees as part of their effort to downsize and remain competitive during the inter-island price wars that have been rampant since Go! Airlines entered the market. Now Island Air is offering a $12 return trip airfare for tickets sold during the 12 days before Christmas, for travel through March 15. Tickets must be purchased online. For more information visit the Island Air Web site.
