Earthquake Closes Mauna Kea Beach Hotel
The luxurious Mauna Kea Beach Hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii was closed December 1, 2006 for an indefinite period of time, due to damage caused by a Kohala Coast earthquake on October 15, 2006. Hotel Closure Official Announcement
