The 2006 Kauai Mokihana Festival will take place September 17-23. The event includes a Kauai composer's contest, a musician's contest, a hula contest for men and women, a Hawaiian church service, lectures, workshops, and handmade arts and crafts. The competitions and presentations will take place in many different locations on the island of Kauai.
