Waikiki in 1938 The Honolulu Advertiser has been publishing their newspaper for 150 years as of 2006, and to celebrate that milestone they are featuring a new historic photo from their archives every day, including this 1938 picture of Waikiki, when the tallest hotels were the Royal Hawaiian and the Moana.
